Do you want to email and text from your cell phone via voice rather than typing as you drive? I’ve been playing with Dial2Do.com for about a month. It’s free, for now, but it will eventually become a paid service. Previously, I had been using Jott.com but Dial2Do beats Jott in many respects.
Dial2Do is easy to use. You call in and it asks you a few simple questions – like “Do what?” and “To who?”. I’m mostly using it to send text messages while I drive or to update my Twitter feed. You can also send emails, add reminders, get the weather, listen to your email and your calendar. They have local numbers in about 20 countries. When they start charging I’m pretty sure I will start paying.
Apparently the Dial2Do people use speech recognition software, like Jott, but have humans double check it. It has been very accurate for me so far. They also add a link to the audio to all of your emails, texts, etc. Check it out.
